This paperweight is inspired by an early mid 4th century coin from Boeotia.
The original features the image of the Boeotian shield, which is distinguished by its figure of eight shape, itself influenced by early Persian armour.
The image on the reverse shows a Corinthian helmet of the 6th century BC.
