Corinthian oinochoe

A lovely example of the Corinthian style, this oinochoe is decorated with two friezes of panthers, birds, ibex and horsemen, surrounded by rosettes and floral motifs, interspersed with ornamental bands.

An original example, dating to ca 590-570 B.C. and attributed to the Canessa Painter, and is currently at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York:
