2007 - our priority this year has been to revamp our website and settle in to our new shop! |

The dominant 'event' year was our move from smaller premises round the corner, where we'd been for two and a half years, to a lovely, considerably larger site directly opposite the British Museum. We also exhibited, as usual, at the the Daily Telegraph House and Garden Fair and the Spirit of Christmas in Kensington, supplied products for a documentary on the novelist Mary Renault, an episode of The Bill and 60 minute makeover. Our dress jewellery was featured in Harpers Bazaar and in House and Garden Magazine. This year, we supported The Multiple Sclerosis Society and sponsored the publication of a book ('Sydney the Snail Plays Safe') for use in two of our local primary schools, one of which is the school at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. We also support, as an ongoing commitment, the Actors of Dionysus and the King's College Greek play. |

Events at It's All Greek this year included an evening where the food was supplied by Panos and Klio from www.thegreekdeli.com; a book launch for Susannah Hoe (author of 'Crete: Women, History, Books and Places'); another to mark the launch of 'Charioteer Tours' and another for Christine McKinnon's 'Papyrus Productions' (some of Christine's work is for sale on our site in the 'for walls'/inscriptions area). |

Greek hoplites took refuge with us from their 'Family Day' at the British Museum, thanks to George Georgiou, John Mole came to for an evening to sign copies of "It's All Greek to Me!"; Dr Nicos Papadakis, Press Counsellor at the Greek Embassy, London, visited It's All Greek to give an interview on Cyprus TV (RIK) about the impending Olympic Games. The programme, which also featured shots of our Olympic window display and a brief interview with Elinor, was televised on Thursday 12th, on the eve of the Olympic opening ceremony. |
